After owning my Cessna Cardinal (177) N2369Y for over 40 years I recently had to part with it. My Garmin 696 was my most trusted instrument especially when my vacuum pump once failed, gyros tumbled and I had to descend through a 6,000 foot solid deck. It is pristine with no scratches or nicks. The new owner wanted to install a new all glass panel so he was not interested in buying it and I wasn't going to give it away. I once considered a tablet but purchased the Garmin 696 instead because it would be a permanent dedicated piece of equipment. Didn't have to worry that the kids ran the battery out surfing the WEB the night before I wanted to fly. I also have a Bose NC, Soft-Com and David Clark headsets along with an aviation grade battery minder and jumper cables that I am putting up for sale.
